Each year, In The Image promotes a number of special events targeted
to the specific needs of the people we serve. Here’s a rundown
of our annual events:

Crib
Full of Blues |
Crib
Full of Blues is a music event featuring top blues and jazz
talent and an opportunity to help mothers in need throughout
the greater Grand Rapids area. In our first year, Crib Full
of Blues helped raise money to purchase over 300
new cribs.
You’re invited to join this event, and enjoy a night
of great music, great food and an opportunity to make a
difference. |

Distribution

each month, a Gleaner’s truck, loaded with 10,000
lbs.
of perishables stops off at In The Image for a food distribution
event. These trucks are often sponsored by local churches
and service organizations, and as a result, In The Image
becomes an important stop for people in need. |

S.H.O.E.S.

| S.H.O.E.S.
stands for Shoes Help Our Elementary Students. Each year,
In The Image provides brand new back-to-school shoes to 6,000
Grand Rapids Public elementary students. It’s a very
special way to help families stretch their budget and help
the students get back to school on the right foot. |

Coats?

Coats? Campaign is a winter project geared towards providing
needy families with coats for the winter season. Your donations
and financial support helps us provide thousands of needy
families and individuals with coats. |
