S.H.O.E.S. 2012

Make a financial donation in time to receive your 2012 tax deduction that will be used directly for our program in 2013

2012 was another amazing year! We served over 8,000 children throughout Grand Rapids, Kentwood, and Wyoming by giving elementary school children brand new shoes to start the school year off on "the right foot"! Thank you to the over 600 volunteers that helped us fit shoes, organize shelves, and serve our community. Also, thank you to the parents and other adults who took time out of their busy lives to do the right thing and show their child that we can work together to make this year special!

We look forward to an even better 2013 where we will continue to develop our program to serve the community and it's children. You can help beginning now by:

Organizing a clothing and/or shoe drive at your company, church, or school that will help us generate revenue by recycling the items that can't be used.

Collect change that can be used to buy shoes for our children. (we buy shoes year round for our program)

Got Coats?
Our Got Coats? Campaign is a winter project geared towards providing needy families with coats for the winter season. Your donations and financial support helps us provide thousands of needy families and individuals with coats. In 2009, our efforts were made national on The Tyra Banks Show due to our partnership with One Warm Coat.

S.H.O.E.S.
S.H.O.E.S. stands for Shoes Help Our Elementary Students. Each year, In The Image provides brand new back-to-school shoes to at risk elementary students. In 2010, we gave away more than 8,500 pairs of shoes. It’s a very special way to help families stretch their budget and help the students get back to school on the right foot. In 2011, our goal is 10,000 pairs of shoes! Remember, just $10 will put a pair of shoes on an at risk child. Please help!
