Furniture, Beds, and Other Appliances

In 2012, In The Image delivered more than 2,000 beds to families in need throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. Beds are the most-requested item for In The Image.

In The Image receives beds from many different sources. Many come from people calling us to pick up their used bedding, but we also partner with local businesses to get used beds on a regular basis. We’d like to thank and encourage our business partners.

In The Image also picks up and delivers good, used major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers. We ask that all donated appliances be in good working condition.

Sleep Doctor

This local bedding retailer picks up customers’ old mattresses when delivering new mattresses. Twice a week, In The Image trucks swing by their warehouse to pick up all of the amazing items donated by their customers. We could not serve so many without Sleep Doctor.

Local Universities and Organizations

Grand Valley State University and other local organizations with beds on hand also donate beds to us. We regularly contact these organizations for contributions

Meijer and Target

These retailers donate new goods to us on a weekly basis that we are able to pass on to a community that is in dire need. These donations help us to enhance the dignity of those with the least within our community.
